Shortlisted in the Top 50 Surface Patterns (worldwide)

I'm delighted to announce I have been shortlisted in the TOP 50 surface pattern designs for Make It In Design's 2022 Scholarship Competition in association with Print and Pattern blog.

My pink 'Astronaut in Space' multi-layered design features a cartoon astronaut with spaceship, planets and clouds. I enjoyed creating this design using unusual techniques combined with aspects from my usual style and turning them into digital results.

My surface pattern can be seen here on a stationery mock up and fabric.

Apparently designers from 39 countries entered so I'm 'over the moon' (excuse the pun!) to be in the top 50! Many thanks to Make It in Design and Print and Pattern for choosing me! See my design featured on their blog at the bottom of this pagelink.
